๐Ÿ’›one of my hobbies is taking pictures around the station.there are several beautiful places that caught my eye.brief details about the photographs i took can be given below.

❤this temple shows the NELLIGALA  TEMPLE. it is located in 'MURUTHALAWA', near Kandy, Sri Lanka.it sits atop the Nelligala hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including lush green valleys, distant mountain ranges, and even the city of kandy on clear days.the temple is known for its serene and peaceful atmosphere. the temple houses several 'Buddhist statues', including a large statue of the Buddha in the seated posture.the temple hosts various Buddhist religious activities, especially during 'VESAK' and 'POYA DAYS' , drawing both locals and tourists. nelligala temple is not just a religious site but also a popular destination for those seeking calmness, spiritual reflection, and scenic beauty in central Sri Lanka.

❤'KANDYAN DANCER' is a beautiful flower that can be seen in our house.the term 'kandyan dancing flower' likely refers to a specific aspect of 'kandyan dancer' a traditional and iconic form of dance in Sri Lanka, which is particularly associated with the kandy region.while the phrase it self is not a standard term within kandyan dance, it could be a metaphorical reference to the graceful and rhythmic movements of the dancers, which resemble the blossoming or swaying of a flower.upland dress, head covering, dance posture can be pointed out as a flower that is attractive and able to surprise people.

though 'kandyan dancing flower' is not a formal term, it beautifully captures the essence of the elegance and beauty of kandyan dance, likening the dancer's movements to that of a flower swaying gracefully in the wind.

❤the temple of the sacred tooth relic, known as 'SRI DALADA MALIGAWA' is one of the most sacred places for Buddhists in Sri Lanka.it is located in the city of kandy, which was the last capital of the sinhalese kings.the temple houses a relic of the tooth of the Buddha, which is considered a symbol of sovereignty.over the centuries, the possession of the relic was believed to legitimize the rule of kings, making the temple an important religious and political site.

the temple complex consists of beautiful architecture,a golden roof, and is adorned with intricate carvings and paintings.devotees and tourists from around the world visit the temple to pay their respects to the relic.there is also an annual festival known as the 'Esala  perahera'.

the temple not only holds religious significance but also serves as a symbol of cultural heritage for Sri Lanka.

❤I will not forget to go to the 'YAPAHU KINGDOM' many days.'yapahu kinngdom' refers to an ancient kingdom in Sri Lanka, centered in the fortress of yapahuwa, located in the northwestern part of the country. yapahuwa served as the capital of sri lanka during the 13th century after the fall of polonnaruwa, following invasions by south indian forces.

the fortress at yapahuwa was built on a steep,300-foot rock and was well fortified. yapahuwa was also home to the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha for a brief period, making it a religious center as well.

today, yapahuwa is an important archaeological site, attracting visitors interested in sri lanka's medieval history and architecture.
