 💚 hanthana mountain range is one of the most beautiful and important mountain ranges in central Sri Lanka, lying not very far away from the city of kandy. it is known for stunning natural beauty, biodiversity, and as a representative of hiking in the country.

💛i also participated in climbing the hanthana mountain range.it was our university badge trip.the range lies to the southwest of kandy, which is the cultural capital of Sri Lanka.t here are complete panoramic views of the surrounding landscape:the city of kandy, tea plantations, forests, and other mountain that dot the landscape.the area is rich in fauna and flora.it houses many species of birds, butterflies, and small mammals, and has different types of native plants . hantana ranges are famous among local and foreign hikers.it is one of the most prestigious universities in Sri Lanka and is located at the foot of the hanthana range. hanthana finds a place in Sri Lankan literature, songs and even films to symbolize beauty, mystery, and adventure.
